2021 FORUM

The UC San Diego Forum on U.S.-China Relations (“China Forum” in short) is the first ongoing high-level forum focused entirely on the U.S.-China relationship. It takes advantage of UC San Diego’s location on the Pacific and the depth of China expertise at the 21st Century China Center at the School of Global Policy and Strategy.

Since the last in-person meeting in January-February 2020, the China Forum has met virtually three times in September 2020, March 2021 and September 2021, culminating in the current China Forum (virtual) on Dec. 13 and 14.

Participation in the China Forum is by invitation only. We have designed the China Forum to achieve maximum active discussion by all its accomplished attendees. There will be no video recording or audio transcript. Chatham House Rule is applied to ensure candid discussion at the Forum.
